Peakto introduces AI-driven culling and deduplication across photo libraries

CYME announced Peakto 2.6, the latest version of its AI-powered media manager for Mac, which now adds AI-based deduplication and culling across an entire photo library. Peakto analyzes all of a user’s photos, regardless of where they live: across folders, multiple software catalogs, external hard drives, or NAS systems.

Traditional culling tools operate locally and in silos, the company says. Peakto 2.6 changes that paradigm by applying AI to the entirety of a photographer’s work—no matter how fragmented the storage.

Peakto 2.6 also brings significant performance improvements. The software is now capable of ingesting and handling even larger volumes of media with greater speed and stability—designed for growing libraries and demanding professional workflows.
